| We took a 3 hour drive to the Cashiers, NC area to see a few waterfalls. Mark took some beautiful pictures with his new camera! |

| The above picture is Whitewater Falls in Cashiers, NC. It is the highest falls east of the Mississippi River at 411 feet. |

| The above picture is Silver Run Falls. It cascades over a 20 to 25 foot high ledge into a beautiful tree-lines pool that also features a sandy beach. It's about a 3 hour drive from home, so we are planning to go back this summer when we can swim! |

| Pamela has been trying to get Mae to ride on the merry-go-round at the mall for a long time. So far, Mae would just sit on the bench seat. This time she finally rode a horse....and loved it!! |

| Mark, Mamie, and Mae went to the Chinese New Year pot-luck dinner with the Lake Norman FCC group. This was our first year going. Good friends, good food, new friends ...We had a great time! |
